- None. You can read every list without giving us a name or an email address.
- Counting visits
- Cloudflare Web Analytics tells us how often each list is opened. It sets no cookie and builds no profile of you across websites. What reaches us is totals only, for example how many people opened the C page this week, which site sent them, which country they were in and what kind of browser or device they used. Cloudflare’s own policy for this data is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
- Cookies and storage
- Things by Letter writes nothing to your browser: no cookies, no local storage. Fonts are served from thingsbyletter.com itself, and no advertising network runs on any page.
- Links out
- The source links go to the United Nations Statistics Division, GitHub and Wikidata. Once you follow one, that site’s privacy policy applies.
- Writing to us
- Mail sent to hello@thingsbyletter.com passes through Cloudflare Email Routing into our Gmail account, where it is read to answer you or correct a list. Beyond that, we keep it to ourselves.
